The Nassau Film Festival has grown over the years to become one of the TOP 40 COMPREHENSIVE SHORT FILM FESTiVALS IN THE WORLD AND THE premier COMPREHENSIVE short film festival IN NEW JERSEY. We would like to thank ALL our sponsors who have been willing to support the Festival. When you become a sponsor, please know that your support has allowed NFF to promote independent films and their filmmakers and adds to the vibrant arts scene and sales for local businesses given the increase of tourists and filmgoers to the area during the Festival. SPONSOR SUPPORT HAS ALSO ALLOWED NFF TO DONATE MONIES TO A DIFFERENT NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION EACH YEAR.NFF HAS RAISED OVER $82,000 for Different non-profit organizations SInce its inception.

Welcome to the Nassau Film Festival (NFF) online fundraiser page!

Over the years, NFF has earmarked funds donated from patrons and sponsors each year to assist various non-profit organizations. We have raised over $82,000 for different non-profits over the years. Those organizations the Festival has donated to over the years include the American Cancer Society, Womenspace, Make-A-Wish Foundation, the Trenton Area Soup Kitchen (TASK), the Community Foodbank of New Jersey - a Feeding America affiliate and Mercer Street Friends, the Lisa Goldstein Education Foundation, the Family Resource Network, Toys for Tots and the Salvation Army.

Some recent examples of giving:

In 2022, festival proceeds from festival goers, filmmakers and sponsors went to the Lisa Goldstein Education Foundation (LGEF). Festival proceeds allowed us to underwrite eight scholarships from LGEF for high school students. LGEF awards annual scholarships to high school seniors pursuing education, math or science studies at a college or university and college/university juniors currently doing their student teaching in a NJ school district in elementary and/or special education. In keeping with the legacy of Lisa Goldstein, a former third grade teacher at Maurice Hawk elementary school in West Windsor, NJ, the foundation strives to assist future teachers whose goal is to help students lead lives of joy and purpose through a solid start to their educational journey at the elementary level.

Proceeds from the 2023 Festival went toward the Family Resource Network (FRN). FRN provides more than 50 services and programs for NJ residents living with epilepsy, autism, developmental disabilities and chronic illness and support for their caregivers.

Proceeds from the 2024 Festival went towards Toys for Tots and the Salvation Army. Unwrapped toys and winter clothing were also donated by festival goers and distributed as messages of joy and hope during the holiday season to disadvantaged children up to age 12.
